Biography

I am the art teacher to close to 450 artists at our K-8 school here in Madison, Wisconsin. I grew up here and went to the University of Wisconsin where I majored in Italian Language. After graduating, I went back to school to become an art teacher. I spent quite a few years doing other important things before my first job which included being a stay-at-home mom to my son. When he started school, I decided I wanted to be there, too. I had so much fun volunteering and then subbing that I knew I wanted to have my own room, with my own kids and play all day with the cool art room supplies. I can't think of any job that would be more fun! Every day in the art room there are smiles, laughter and sometimes big messes. That is why we are there together! Creativity can be contagious so watch out if you ever come to visit us!
