Pennell's 5th Grade Artists

We might have only gotten through two projects while 5th grade was in person for art, but that's because we took a really deep dive into abstract art and portraits - 2 very challenging topics in art. For abstract art, we learned about the little known artist - Hilma Af Klint. We studied her use of line and shape. Then we spent a great deal of time learning the proportions of the face for our Future Self Bobble Head Portrait Project. But, our time was well spent!
