I wouldn’t recognize this portrait without the pompom headband, the prominence use of the color blue and the luscious hair. Then again more I look at it the more I see the closeness to her vibrant personality.

Way to go in exploring and using different kinds of colors and lines. Certainly made a focal point with adding the circles. This can be compared to how we see down below when we’re looking down from an airplane.

This is different from all the other artwork, sharp edges and deep colors. Understanding Ndebele reflect this art!

Emily proved that she can create a fabulous artwork by putting up the primary and secondary colors in its proper places that resulted a good array of beautiful colors. Keep up the good work child, I'm so proud of you.

I see that Emily has advanced to geometric abstraction. This symmetrical and non-objective piece does not fall short of her usual panache with vibrant colors and blissful form of expression. I'm sure there's a beautiful story behind this and I will be inclined to pay attention to it!

What a strong finish for 2017! Bravo on this superb piece! The vibrant colors and intricate details leave the audience with a stunning visual without being overwhelming. This touches upon one's multiple senses and invigorates the mind. A stirring depiction of the struggle between modernity and nature.

Just as Picasso had his blue period, it appears that Emily is also dabbling in her own phase of sapphire. This work of art is by far Emily's most compelling and that is quite a statement given that her previous works have all been marvelous. Her use of different shading to differentiate between the distances is intuitive and the black silhouette of the tree is outstanding. I'm anxious to see what's next.

It’s apparent that Emily’s artistic prowess has evolved into a more structural style. This piece has realism and balance. Her illustration of the eagle is honest and she made sure that equal amounts of patriotic colors are used. The technique she used for the star, avoiding overlap of colors, is advanced. Truly impressive, well done!

Her use of words and thoughtful execution of colors make this drawing quite marvelous! I appreciate the simplicity of the bottom three quarters of the page and the pop of color and preoccupied motivation at the top. The message is quite spectacular and inspiring. This is my favorite yet. I will need to speak with the artist to inquire whether this is a depiction of one of her most admired heroes. If I remember correctly, she has already drawn one of her aunt whom she looks up to...it makes one wonder if this is another illustration of the same person...must be one hell of an aunt if you ask me!

As a faux art connoisseur, I can imagine how complicated yet rewarding manipulation of clay can be. This owl art piece has detailed designs in the feathers and eyes that show the amount of concentration and effort that went into making it. Bravo, Emily, this is simply marvelous!

What a wonderful art piece to welcome the new season! This depiction of a garden is truly magnificent brings one's imagination to simpler, happier times. The added touch of water lilies take it to the next level with the added variability and interlude to the vibrant flowery field. Bravo!

I love how Emily created the soft edges on the shell. This is very pleasing to look at. It also makes one wonder if the background is the ocean or a blue table. Well done!

I believe this portrait represents self in an abstract manner whilst combining with it certain aspects of a person she aspires to be. If what the artist's mother says is true, Emily's aunt must be quite a role model. This is a work of genius. Clearly, Emily wants to emulate a person of beauty, depth and humanity.

To me, this is a somber take on a repetitive topic that, while it shows multiple subjects, is not redundant because each item is created in a way that is special and is unlike the other ones within the section. Excellent!

This artwork speak to me and shows just how great of an artist Emily is. To me, the castle represents her home: grand, colorful, happy. I think the stars above represent her family: mom, dad, ems, auntie. The pop of yellow in the middle shows that she's not afraid to take risks and is apt to break barriers. I also like the panda at the side; just like her pictures, it's in black and white and shows how serious of an artist she is. I like that she incorporated a bow and colored lips in the profile picture because she combined fantasy with reality. This is truly a masterpiece. Outstanding work, Emily! <3
