You just seem to get better and better. The scene is balanced ( in photography we think in terms of thirds ). That is why it is so pleasing to the eye. That and the colors and the contrasts between clouds and sky; sky and mountains.

Are all the elephants the same color green? They look slightly different because of the background color. I assume that was the point of the lesson. If so, you captured it well.

I like this because the surfaces are not complete. Makes me wonder how many lines could be eliminated before I couldn't see a pitcher, a bowl, and a vase. Or how many could be added to see the material of each. Nice work.

I like this. Reminds me of Charlie Chaplin or Groucho Marx... but they have rounder faces. Similar to word puzzles: what is not said (background) is as important as what is said (black) in solving the puzzle.

Claire, I took a peek at your work. Very impressed. You are more of a modern art , contemporary person. I'm more old master traditional. BUT I love your colors, and style. Relax more though, and just practice with the flow of things.enjoy. I'm looking forward to seeing great stuff from you!!!
