Love it!! You know I am a fan of your art work. You never cease to amaze me with your creativity. This piece is a lovely example of how much thought you put into your work, the colors you choose and how you express yourself. Interesting how you partitioned each idea. Hazel, I absolutely LOVE these tornadoes!!! The colors remind me of something from Dr. Seuss. They also remind me of glass twisties! Can’t wait to try to make them and then make a bead with them!!!

At the moment I am sitting in Atlanta airport and looking at your cleaver and creative bear. I love how you made it stand out. Your color choices and design are so interesting. This is a lovely landscape. It looks like a place in Europe. Everything is so green against the blue sky. What I like is how you painted a white fence and blue water which makes everything standout. I know I've told you this but you are a great artist.

The cardinal is the state bird for the state of Ohio where I grew up. Many birds would leave for the winter since it was so cold. The cardinal stays in Ohio year round. As your picture shows, the cardinal is a beautiful red bird, especially the male cardinal. When it snowed, as in your picture, a cardinal would be a welcome sight with the bright red feathers. Your cardinals look very realistic. I love your trees. You are a very talented artist Hazel.

Hazel, I thought wow, this picture looks like a Modigliani and it was a self-portrait. Even before I read the portrait caption I recognized this as a Modigliani because of the identifiable long neck he made famous for most of his work. You did an outstanding job. However, if this is a self-portrait, you are certainly much cuter. Great job Hazel-- you are a true artist.
