Jessica Stortz Hello! I am Mrs. Stortz, K-4 Art teacher at Heritage Elementary. I am thrilled to be teaching in Waunakee where the school and community have a strong commitment to children and education. I share that commitment by continuing to push myself in my profession. I graduated from Carroll College in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education and a minor in Spanish. The 2022-2023 school year marks my 21st year teaching. During the first 14 years of my career in the Beaver Dam Unified School District, I gained a variety of experience teaching Art, Spanish, and ELL across all grade levels. Then, I was recruited to teach K-8 Art in the Mayville School District where I spent three years developing foundational curriculum for the K-12 Art program.
