I am the art teacher at Shaker Lane School for all day K - grade 2. I have a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art as well as PreK-9 Art teacher certification. I also have my M.Ed in Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley University. It is my true joy to teach young children art. I have the best job in the world!

Children are given the opportunity to express their own unique voice in art class at Shaker Lane. No two projects will nor should ever look the same. Inspiration will come in the form of an idea, an artist or a technique, but it is left up to the individual artist how to interpret that information.
Art is about fun, creativity, expressing oneself and making our brains make new connections as we learn new things. Its the best! Thank you so very much for your support of our program.
