After a long journey as an artist in painting, collage, printmaking and book arts, I decided to become an art teacher. I love my job. It makes my day to see the kids so engaged with their work. This is my fourth year working with grants to bring theater design to our students. We have had visiting artists from the John Noble Maritime Museum, The Guggenheim, Broadway Jr., Disney on Broadway, Staten Island Maker Space, Sundog Theater, and The Little Amal Project. We strive to make this an inclusive, creative space. I teach artists from all different cultures around the world. All our students are respected and encouraged to make the best artwork in accordance with the best of their abilities.
