Hello PS 89! I am so excited to be your art teacher. I'm really looking forward to the school year and seeing just how creative and artistic you can be! I teach grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade. My goal as an art teacher is to provide a supportive learning environment where students have the freedom to create and succeed. I know that art helps students to build a sense of self worth and self esteem as they create artworks that communicate their feelings and views of the world. The most exciting place for myself is in the classroom teaching young, imaginative minds. I have been teaching since 1987, and have been at PS 89 since 1997. PS 89 is a great place for Kids!
