Melissa Corcoran-Niskala
Hello! I am the Art teacher at Parma Community Schools. I work with the students in grades 4-12. I love working with such a diverse age group. It is so exhilarating to see what each student has in them artistically, no matter what age!
My first degree was actually not in Art, but Middle Childhood Education. After spending a few years doing that, my heart was just not in it. The times I enjoyed teaching middle school the most were during the art lessons that I planned. I knew I had to go back to school for art. I have always loved all art mediums, and hope to instill that love with my students. |
