Alison Winters Hanson Alison Winters Hanson began her teaching career in New Glarus during the 2004-2005 school year as the middle/high school art teacher and yearbook adviser. Before that, she obtained her Pk-12 art teaching certificate at Edgewood in the post-bac program. Her BA is in Studio Art from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay; emphasizing in two dimensional media (drawing) with a minor in graphic design. Ms. Winters Hanson earned her Master’s degree from Edgewood College in 2012 Educational Administration and Athletic Directorship. In her years in New Glarus, Ms. Winters has taught a wide variety of two- and three- dimensional art media and techniques to grade levels 6-12 over the years. Currently, she is the art teacher for the sixth through twelfth grade art classes, teaching classes that range from graphic design to metals to painting and drawing.
