Meet the Teachers  at Marshall Elementary School (South Orange, New Jersey)

Jessica Fong Ms. Fong has happily been part of the Marshall School family since 2008. Before coming to Marshall, Ms. Fong taught for a year in a public school in Brooklyn, NY but decided the commute from South Orange was too long. Shortly after moving to the neighborhood the special opportunity to teach close to home popped up! (Did you know Mrs. Fong is a walker...just like many of our students!!!) After s ... read moreeveral years as an office manager/bookkeeper in New York City, she realized her passion for art was fueled by her volunteer work teaching art to children residing in transitional homeless residences. This ah-ha moment prompted Ms. Fong to head back to school in order to earn her Masters degree in Art & Art Education from Teachers College at Columbia University in 2007. Ms. Fong loves art (of course!), especially printmaking, photography and painting. She also loves to read, sunny days and flamingos! Send compliment
