I have been an art teacher for over 10 years. I most enjoy working with middle school students; they are a great group of students. I have been teaching at Kolb Middle School for 9 years, now. I earned a bachelor's degree in art from the College of Santa Fe, in New Mexico. I earned a masters degree in education from Concordia University, in Irvine, California. I have been involved with The California Arts Project, California Art Educator's Association, and the National Art Educators Association as well ... read more as very active in the arts in Rialto. I believe arts education is a vital part of every child's education and all children should be allowed access to the arts.
I enjoy creating mixed media art work, involving painting materials, collage and drawing materials. I have had my artwork shown in a variety of galleries in California and New Mexico. I live in the mountain area with my two young sons and my husband, who is also an artist. As a family, we all enjoy creating art together.
