Shauna Smith Hello my name is Shauna Smith and I teach art at Hawthorn Elementary South in Vernon Hills, Illinois. This is my 14th year at Hawthorn, but I also taught art for 3 years in Palatine, Illinois. I am a graduate from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Arts Teacher Education and I have a well-rounded background in art having taken classes in drawing, painting, silkscreen, sculpture, ceramics, and art history.
