Meet the Teachers  at Little Mountain Elementary (Little Mountain, South Carolina)

Jennifer Jones I am looking forward to a great 2023-2024 school year. For those who are new to Little Mountain Elementary, I welcome you! To those of you who are returning students, I look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces! Just a little bit about myself....My name is Jennifer Jones and this is my sixteenth year teaching art in Newberry County. This is my 18th year teaching, overall. I graduated from Cheraw High School in 2000, and received my undergraduate degree in Art Education and a minor in Art Histo ... read morery from Winthrop University in 2005. In 2009, I received my National Board Certification in Early/Middle Childhood Art and in 2011, I received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Arkansas State University. I was selected as Newberry County District Teacher of the Year in 2015. I am married to Elly Jones and we have two children. Jack Davis is in the 6th grade and Wilson (Wils) is in second grade at LME. We live on Lake Murray and enjoy all that the lake has to offer. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, being out on the lake, playing with Jack Davis and Wils and working with polymer clay.
