I took MANY art classes at Mason City Communtiy Schools and graduated from Mason City High School in 1985. I attended Iowa Wesleyan College in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa and graduated with a degree in K-12 Art Education. I have been teaching art for 20 years in East Sac County Schools. Every day that I teach is a new adventure!!!!

Sarah Villegas
In 2000 I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in K-12 Art Education. My first two years were at parochial schools. There I taught K-6 Art. Then, in 2002 I began teaching 7-12 Art in Sac City. Since WLVA and Sac Community Schools have started sharing classes, I have taught many different levels/grades of Art, but now have 9-12. I enjoy making and teaching Art. Teaching High School Art allows me to the privilege to be part of our students growth in the creative process.
