My name is James Beard and I have been teaching at Highland since 2018. The focus of my class is on drawing and painting, with the occasional printmaking project. The students are encouraged to be creative and make each project personal with their own original ideas.

Greetings, my name is Heather Duffy.
This is my 21st year in Kentucky Art Education and my Second year at Highland Middle School! I grew up in Louisville, and moved back just six years ago. I attended university at Murray State and began my teaching career there in Calloway County. I am now the 3D art teacher at HMS and we are busy building, creating, constructing and engaging with learning in the art room.
