Nicole Vanderwiel
My name is Mrs. Nicole Vanderwiel and I am the art teacher at Greenbrier Elementary School. I am a graduate of the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign where I double majored in Art Education and Art History. My background includes courses dealing with education as well as finding my own creative style in the arts. My goal is to have students grasp a greater understanding of what art is and how it is truly an irreplaceable experience. I want to offer art as an outlet of expression to my students to help them gain a personal sense of accomplishment, ownership, and confidence while creating their work.
