My Background
I have been teaching at the School of Discovery since August 2002. I taught at The Downtown Middle School in Winston-Salem, NC for two years previous. I received my BA in Art from Winthrop University and my teacher's certification from Greensboro College. I am currently working on a Masters in Instructional Technology. My Family My family consists of my husband, Kip, my 11 year old daughter, Caylen, my 12 year old step-son, Tyler, and our 2 year old son, Brennan. I am a huge animal lover. My furry family members include Mailee, an Australian Cattle Dog, Beau, a Beagle, and three cats. |

Sarah Rowe
Hello! I'm Ms. Rowe and I teach 6-8th Grade Art GT at School of Discovery in Clio, S.C. I've been living in Bennettsville most of my life and graduated from Marlboro Academy in 2007 (Was it really that long ago!?). I went to Francis Marion University and Majored in Art Education. I'm a 2012 Graduate with a Bachelor of Science in said Art Education with a Certification of K-12th grade (I made it!). Currently I've been teaching at School of Discovery for five years now and I can honestly say that I love my job and I love my students! I plan to continue convincing every student that they can learn and to also continue learning from the children. I hope you enjoy their work as much as I did teaching them how to do it!
