Sonya Walker
Hi! My name is Sonya Walker and I am the art teacher at Fatima High School. I am so glad to be a part of the Fatima community, working with staff and students to create an exciting learning experience for everyone here. This is my 23rd year at Fatima and each year is better than the last.
My education includes a Bachelor in Art Education from UCM at Warrensburg, MO and a Master’s Degree in Art Education from the University of Missouri, Columbia Missouri. I decided to become a teacher because I wanted to work with people, especially young people. I absolutely love their energy. I love helping them, watching them grow as artists, and getting to know them as individuals. |
