Maggie Maloney
Hi! My name is Maggie Maloney and I teach art at Falling Branch Elementary School! This is my second year being the full-time art teacher at FBE. I am very excited to continue to grow our wonderful art program. I really love being a part of your child's education and believe art is an incredibly valuable part of every elementary student's experience!
Your student will have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of art media in my class (i.e. painting, drawing, printmaking, clay, collage, weaving, and ... read more much more). My favorite medium to work with is clay! We will also talk about artists, different cultures, and make connections between art and other school subjects. Students will learn how valuable a knowledge of art can be for their daily lives. It will be an amazing school year!
I live in Christiansburg, Virginia with my husband, son, and three pets. We love to visit with friends and family, travel, and spend time outdoors!
