Meet the Teachers  at South Brunswick High School (Southport, North Carolina)

Patricia Lyles I have taught for 32 years in the states of North Carolina and South Carolina. I have taught grades k-12 in public and private schools. I have a BCA degree in Arts Education and a minor in Education. I have won 8 Trustees Awards for teaching, 4 time finalist for Teacher of the Year, WBTV Teacher of the Year finalist. I am now living in Brunswick County trying to establish myself as an artist in the medias of painting, drawing, and photography. I have been the Fine Arts chairperson. The Brunswick County school board has recognized students for having their art work in a North Carolina Art Honor Society traveling exhibit and local and regional art shows. Patricia Lyles Good Morning! I am a teacher of the Visual Arts. I truly enjoy what I am teaching and doing everyday. Students at South Brunswick are very intuituve to the challenge of their art assignments that are given to them. I have taught k-12 grades in North and South Carolina and have won numerous awards for my efforts and students efforts as well. I have won 10 trustees awards, teacher of the year, WBTV teacher of the year and others. I have won awards for my personal work and hope to earn many more. I want the community to know that South Brunswick has many wonderfully talented young students.
