Araceli Valtierra
My name is Araceli Valtierra and this year I am very excited to be an art teacher at Desert Sonora Elementary School in Somerton Arizona. I had taught second grade for eleven years but this year I was able to make my dream come true and bring art back to our school. I teach art from a cart since there is no room available to have an art classroom. After not having art in our school for more than six years I feel very grateful to be able to teach over four hundred fifty students all about art. My students so far are enjoying art as much as I am. I know this school year will be an exciting and rewarding adventure for my students and I.
