Roxana Valencia ( K-8th grades)
I'm an Art Teacher that loves graphic design, photography, music, traveling and enjoys good reading. Some of my favorites art movements are Impressionism, Cubism, Dada, Surrealism, Expressionism, Op Art and Pop Art.
I've been working at Highlands Christian Schools for about 20 years, (2002 to Present). I studied graphic design at Universidad Dr. José Matias Delgado in El Salvador, Central America and continued my studies at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. CA. Currently, I live in San Francisco, California, with my daughter and husband. I am grateful to have a job that allows me to draw on the elements of teaching that have long been a part of who I am while working with students who continue to inspire me each day. |
