I have been teaching at BHS since 2002 and primarily teach Drawing/Painting and Photography. I like to stay active in the artworld going to museums, galleries and producing my own creations, mostly using oil paint. My work is mostly representational inspired by impressionistic techniques and styles. Some favorite subjects are landscapes and close ups of nature, garden flowers and bugs. Often I compose images using odd angles and perspectives.
My prior career was in the field of Graphic Design, Illustration and Advertising. I enjoy describing the realities of the business world to my High School students who are soon to enter the working world. |
