Ameena Khan
My name is Ameena Khan, and I am thrilled to be teaching K-8 visual art this year! In my class I help students develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills, teamwork, fine and gross motor skills, focus, concentration, and listening skills. Through the trial and error of creating, children (and the rest of us too!) learn perseverance, grit, inventiveness, risk-taking, self-expression, and communication. These soft skills will help your children be successful in whatever path they choose, and I am honored to play a role in developing them.
