Hi everyone! My collegiate emphasis was in Painting, and I had a variety of studio courses in many other media such as sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, and design. I am passionate about bringing my beloved content to students in an accessible way, and work hard to do so. Outside of work I spend time with my husband and our sons, Tae, Kye, and Cam.

Shand Stamper
Hi. I am starting my 11th year teaching and couldn't be more excited about it. I got my Bachelors of Fine Arts in sculpture/ceramics and then a Masters in Metalsmithing. When I was teaching intro drawing classes at East Caroline University I realized how much support high school kids needed to transition into college. The art world can be really tough! Through a whirlwind of life events my husband and I ended up in Paducah KY, teaching our passions in classrooms next door to one another. Life is really grand! We have a menagerie of pets and a spunky, smart, and of course creative daughter who is 7.
Collaborating with my students and parents is one of my greatest joys. |
