The 2018-2019 school year will be my first year with the Harper Woods School District and my seventh year teaching. Before coming to Harper Woods, I taught elementary art and middle school drama in Westland. I believe that all children are artists. I help develop critical thinking and problem solving skills while promoting creativity. My art lessons integrate core subject matter for visual and kinesthetic reinforcement. I can't wait to see the art Beacon Elementary School students are going to create!

Ms. Cawley
My name is Ms. Cawley and I am the art teacher at Beacon Elementary in Harper Woods. This is my fourth year teaching at Beacon and I love seeing my elementary students each week! I see all the students in the school kindergarten through third grade. I love being an art teacher because I get to teach them about things in art that they do not get to experiment with at home. I love being able to watch my students grow and experience new things each year!
