Sherri Pugh
Originally from Georgia, I have lived in East Tennessee with my family since 1995. I graduated from ETSU in 2003 with BFA in Studio Art and a M.Ed in 2014. I feel that art gives every child the ability to learn to express themselves creatively. It is also an important part of a well-rounded education. I want to make sure that every child has fun while simultaneously creating some wonderful art. I believe that Art is not just creating pretty pictures, but it is the incorporation of all subjects, reading, written expression, math, science, social studies, culture and real life experiences. Students will be challenged to think, self-assess and problem-solve to prepare them with twenty-first century skills necessary in our world today.
