Rebecca Schroppe
I have over 10 years of professional experience in graphic and fashion design, based in NYC. Prior to teaching, I was the senior designer at Nautica; designing men's swimwear, headwear, prints, and bottoms. I resigned from my design position in July 2009 so that I could follow a lifelong dream of becoming an art teacher! Transitioning to the classroom was an exciting experience. Teaching art is one of the most rewarding positions I've ever held, aside from my role as a mom in my personal life. I love my students and being inspired by their imaginations day in and day out. I teach fine art and graphic design classes to grades 9-12, AP Art History to grades 11-12, and I moderate a NAHS chapter at UC.
