I began teaching elementary art in 1999 because I am passionate about the subject and believe art is a fundamental part of the human experience as a means of communicating and expressing ourselves. I enjoy working with children and being part of the wonder and excitement they experience as they learn to express themselves creatively. It is my goal to teach students the skills and techniques they need to be successful at visual communication and to help instill in them the confidence to use art as a means of self-expression.
