Kathryn Johnson
Kathryn Johnson began painting at the age of 14, apprenticing under the oil painter, Annise Lindeburg (student of Windburg) and watercolorist, Ann West both of Corpus Christi. She later studied studio art and art history at Del Mar College, Corpus Christi, Texas and Laguna Gloria School of Art in Austin, Texas. Kathryn is personally inspired by one of her favorite master painters, Rembrandt as well as the naturalist and painter, Marie Sybill Merian.
