Kelly Wheeler
I have taught Art in some capacity for the past 8 years to children and teenagers with chronic and life threatening diseases. Most of whom had Cancer, Sickle Cell, Blood Disorders, Spinal Bifida, and Immunology difficiencies.
I currently teach Visual Arts at Stanly Academy Learning Center, Albemarle NC. I graduated from East Carolina University with a major in Art and add on licensure from the School of Education. I have worked extensively with inner city youth in Baltimore MD, Brooklyn NY, and with displaced families/children in Alaska, Alabama, Florida, and Washington DC. |
