I've loved art and being crafty for as long as I can remember. But as much as I love making art, I love teaching others how to do it more. Teaching art to Elementary/Middle Grade students is my dream job.
Before teaching at St. Mary's I used the knowledge gained from my Computer Science degree to create a web design and marketing company that I sold in 2007. There I did a lot of digital designing using Adobe Photoshop, inDesign, Illustrator, etc. and designed many ads that appeared in national magazines. Thanks to my love of computers and art, I have a deep love for digital art and incorporate this into both my art and computer classes. |
