I started dealing with Artsonia while working on my National Board Certification. I was teaching in Bogalusa Louisiana at Bogalusa High School. I must have uploaded at least a hundred, maybe twice that in student art. My students, principal, and fellow teachers loved it.
After Hurricane Katrina hit, I moved to North Carolina where I've dreamed of living and teaching for years but couldn't find the right job. It was such a blessing to get a job teaching art at a wonderful high school with great kids and a great faculty and administration to work with. I'm very excited to be in North Carolina, and to be affiliated with Artsonia again so that I can begin showing the beautiful work my students do at Wilkes Central High School. |
