Biography

Renee Collins is a highly energetic, enthusiastic individual with patience and a natural talent for working with children. She has a passion for art and teaching, and for motivating growth and development for all students. Positive Space: Art Instruction for Kids was born in 2009 in Renee's home studio, with just a few students dropping in for art lessons. She now teaches dozens of children, in a variety of media, with an emphasis on art history, children's literature and world cultures. It brings her great joy to bring art to the lives of so many, and is committed to the positive role that art education can contribute to a student's development.

Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from State University of New York at Purchase.
New Jersey Certificate of Eligibility for Art Education grades K through 12.
