 | I like to show my creative side and me being in the 7th grade i just want ppl to know eagles rockwritten by Andre1269 | | I wanted to do something nice for my step-mom Rhonda. And she loved it!written by Alena279 | | Humility, the nickname given to him after it was said his spirit failed to represent it, stood at the tent. It being late at night, there was a fire burning in the pit at the center of the village. He looked at the totem pole at the center above the pit. He was angry for his spirit face was not part of it. For he had bragged early on and showed off. He was so angry he proceeded to to climb to the structure holding the totem above the fire pit. He stood and with all of his might pushed the totem pole. It shook and fell over with a crash. He heard noised coming from the tents and fled the scene.
He woke the next morning in his mountain village. His mother told him that the totem pole had been knocked over and badly damaged. He saw the looks of shock and sorry among the people and was hit by the shock of guilt. The guilt seemed to settle on him like a weight. He immediately thought about what he could do, but he didn't like his options.
He walked around thinking. He could not do anything, but he didn't like the guilt. He could possibly repair the totem pole, but he didn't have the craftsmanship to do so. He could run away from his village, but there was nowhere to go. Plus, they would probably find him. He had one option. He had to confess, and so he did. The Shaman of the tribe was ashamed of him, but proud that he would confess. They decided to add his face to the totem pole when rebuilding it to show his newfound humility.written by Logan9441 |
