| This is a drawing of Albert Einstein. The mediums I used on this project were drawing and shading. The materials I used on this project were paper and shading pencils. The elements and principles I used were line, value, texture, shape, space, balance, and pattern. I learned about blending, shading, and creating texture when doing this project. This project challenged my abilities because shading is harder and can be confusing to me, the angle he is at was hard to draw, the smaller details were harder to draw, and the texture in his face and hair was challenging. I don’t really like to do shading because it’s one of my weaker areas of art. I liked working on this project because I love the medium of drawing and people are my favorite things to draw. I changed his original shirt up by giving it polka dots. This project really helped improve my shading and drawing skills and I love how it turned out.written by Marisa861 | | For this piece of work I drew Einstein and shaded him with a layout pencil with a 12x18 paper. I think if I were do this project again I would do it with chalk, but I did not mind doing it. It defiantly was not my favorite onewritten by Riley289 | | For my Einstein I used 12x18 paper, and pen and ink. The technique I used for this final is drawing but incorporated pen and ink. I actually really did enjoy this project because it challenged my skills at drawing realistic people. I made this piece my own by doing it in different colors and re-adjusting the picture and adding some more of the jacket and tie onto it. If I were to do this project again I would probably use my shading pencils and do the other picture we could choose from. This project challenged my abilities with drawing, because I mainly paint and drawing is my weak spot. This year I have tried many new things and this is just one of them that I enjoyed.written by Rose158 |
