J.B. Watkins Elementary
Midlothian, Virginia
Thank you to our Artsonia community of students, parents, and their families and friends. We had an incredible third year! We held the #1 spot for Virginia in all categories and finished as the #8 school in the nation out of more than 40,000 schools. What a way to end our third season! This year we want to continue to shine as we add even more artists to our gallery and welcome many new families to the Watkins Artsonia Experience.

Support our gallery with your comments and by joining fan clubs. Artsonia is such a positive experience for our students. They love seeing their art online, but most of all they cherish the comments from friends and families. It helps children gain communication and technology skills as they navigate the site.

NEW THIS YEAR- Students are encouraged to Title and comment on their own art work!! Help your child write about what they learned and created. Then let them share it with others.
Take a peek at the NEW Gallery videos of artwork as well.
ENJOY!!!

Ummmmmmmmmm..........I got think of a name for this artwork. OH, how about Crazy Go-cart!
written by ERIKA616
Hey! I will be making another one of these awesome gargoyles out of clay! So, keep checking you email for updates on my page.
written by ERIKA616
Surrealism is something that is real, but you won't see it that often. The scenes/patterns in my artwork are the ocean and the sky. I am most happy with the starfish that I drew because it is colorful. If I could change something in my artwork I would change my dolphin because I rushed through it.
