CAROLINE'S ARTIST STATEMENT: The assignment was to make a city scape with lots of colors and expressions. You also had to show foreground, middleground, and background. We were inspired by James Rizzi's artwork. I liked that I could use my imagination for the faces and not have to follow a lot of instructions. If I could do it again, I would like to make something on the buildings besides faces, like a cupcake building. But that wasn't the assignment. -- Allison
