Welcome to John Cline's virtual gallery.

Please feel free to add any drawings your child makes at home to this site.
My goal is for your child to be a confident artist who enjoys being creative both at home and at school.

In the artroom, I teach techniques then give your child creative freedom to explore using the techniques. Lots of creative ideas emerge and they make the art that they want to create. Asking them about their art is a great way to learn about what they are thinking. Say, "Tell me about what's going on in this artwork." or "What were you thinking about when you made this?"

Spend time together making art. Let their creativity rub off on you. Brainstorm ideas together. Taking turns drawing on the same paper, each adding to the visual story you are creating. Give your child the reasons why you like their artwork and encouragement to keep creating.
