My figure is a woman at the beach. I put a beach backdrop with the sun, palm trees, and water. The woman is wearing a brown and red bikini. I used the colors blue, yellow, tan, green, brown, and red in my picture.
I learned about figure proportions when I drew this art piece. I learned how to make my artwork creative, colorful and make it stand out. The hardest parts of drawing my pictures were: (1) Tracing the figure on paper. & (2) Making the beach backdrop for the drawing.
The beach backdrop of my picture is a reflection of me because I enjoy having fun at the beach. My family comes from an island near South America that has a lot of beaches: Trinidad & Tobago. The backdrop reminds me of going to Maracas Beach in Trinidad as a little kid. I hope that everyone sees my love of going to the beach.

My figure is a girl posing for a picture. I drew my figure so the girl looks like she is taking a pose for a photo shoot. She is wearing a blouse and a jeans pants. The blouse is yellow and the jeans pants are grey. I also drew her wearing blue high heel shoes.
I learned about figure proportions and face proportions while creating this piece. I also learned new ways to use symbols and represent myself in my work. The hardest part of creating this piece was drawing the figure. I think drawing the figure was hard because it is hard to draw the correct proportions. This outfit is a reflection of me because I am very well dressed.
I chose to draw a girl posing at a photoshoot because I like taking pictures.I hope people learn how to dress better when they think of this art piece. The colours used in my artwork is a symbol of me because those are my favorite colours.

My artwork is filled with plenty of colors. My figure’s name is Brooklyn Boss. I call him Brooklyn Boss because whenever he needs help everyone protects him. He is really popular and he helps all of his friends. Brooklyn Boss does not have to worry about anything. Brooklyn Boss gets whatever he wants whenever he needs it. Anytime he needs money his friends give it to him.
I used a nice piece of construction paper. Then I referenced a picture and sketched it. To color this piece, I used colorful coloring pencils. Once I started to color the body of my figure it started to look really nice.
I learned that when your artwork is beautiful and you a are comfortable with it, you do not have to worry about what anyone else says. This piece of artwork is a reflection of me because I once had on these colors.written by Trayvonne1
