Monart School Of Art-Washington, PA
Washington, Pennsylvania
THE MONART SCHOOL OF ART strives to develop artistic skills in pre-schoolers through adults. Karen Price has had an art school for 33 years, beginning in her home, the Washington Art Association, and now at Monart. She is a certified teacher in Elementary and Art with 12 years experience in public and private schools. She brings to her art school an education background in art and early childhood education.

Through art young children develop small motor skills as well as encouraging their imagination to flourish. Elementary students continue to develop their drawing skills and imagination as well as learning about what they are drawing. Various subjects are introduce including different countries, animals, people, cartoons, still life, fantasy, and anything else students would like to draw.

Teens, previous students, and adults create their own projects and learn advanced artistic skills. Imagination is always encouraged.
