For this project assignment I decided to make a football. To make this piece of artwork I used metal wire, copper wire, brown tissue paper, tape, hot glue and pliers. I wanted to use the wire because i haven't made a project out of wire. I cut 8 pieces of wire to the same length, then I bent then to have the curved design of a football. I had to wind all of the metal wires together to keep there place, then I put some hot glue to secure the wires in place. I found some thin copper wire that I could use to lake the laces on the football. I used the brown tissue paper to make it look like it had a actual football color. The artist that inspired me to make this object is Mitchell Feinberg. He inspired me by his shoe sculpture and how he made shoes in the shape of a heart. I have played football since I was in 3rd grade and it is my favorite sport. All of the boys in my family all play football and both of my grandpas played too.

I used many materials in this and piece of artwork. I used paint, pencil, scissors, glue, paintbrush, and water color paint. I used the pencil to draw the Nike sign and the letters. Then I used the scissors to cut them out and the paint to paint them black with the paintbrush. I used the orange water color paint to put it down and blow it around the paper to give it that spread out look. I used the blowing water color paint technique to give it that spread out look like I already stated. This is an object. This is theme because it is just like the artist Mitchell Feinberg. He uses many different kinds of objects and letters just like mine. As you can see now, this is an object.

This is a picture of a baby turtle Merrick and I found in the grass. It made us very sad that the turtle was left alone, struggling to move along. I edited it to make it look better. It represents that as you are lonely, you struggle to do things at your best, just like the turtle.
