When I composed this vertical picture I wanted the viewers eyes to be able to follow the column up to the top and feel the smooth rock on the column.
written by Brady2441
When I composed this horizontal picture I wanted the viewer to be able to feel the bumpy, rough textures of the sewer cover.

I enjoy this photo because the black and white makes my eyes go in a different direction every time I look at it. It seems as if the shapes of the blankets and pillows move and change. I enjoy how the laptop engages the edges by getting chopped off the edge of the picture. The thing that really caught my eye was the rhythm of lines and textures in the large, bold pillow which looks like a sea anemone.
