Hi, Syd. Good job on your project. I think it might be a cage with a critter inside??? But, I don't know for sure. Whatever it is, it's cute as can be. Will miss these as the school year is done.

My favorite part of my artwork was how funny and crazy it turned out. Something that surprised me was the way my figures hair turned out. The first thing I did was pick 5 different cards with the body shape, mouth, nose, eyes, and hair that were going to be on my figure. Then, I took a pencil and drew my figure. After that I traced over the pencil drawing with a black sharpie and different color sharpies. I think that my figure is the best it could be and I wouldn't change a thing.written by megan11132
My favorite part of my shoe design is the embellishments that I got to put on. My inspiration was the different kinds of polka-dot patterns I had seen. Something I might change would be the amount of embellishments I put on. Something that surprised me was how real my shoe looked. The first thing I did to make my shoe was to pick out the pattern that I wanted for the outside of my shoe. Then, I traced a high heel shoe pattern on to the pattern paper. Then I folded the high heel pattern into the high heel. After that I embellished my shoe with different buttons and jewels.written by megan11132
My favorite part of my artwork is that when I was doing it, it felt like putting a puzzle together except you were creating it to. My inspiration for creating my artwork was the different kinds of rooms or spaces you might find in any ones house or hotel. Something I might change would be the shape of my artwork because of the amount of rooms I had. Something that surprised me was the way the shape of the house I created had different size rooms than I thought but it still turned out really well. The first thing I did to create my art work was I figured out what shape I wanted then, I drew lines for the walls dividing the rooms apart. After that I took the edge of a piece of cardboard, dipped it in black paint and then went over the lines of the outline and the walls. Then, I mixed 2 or 3 close colors together and made color for a room and then did that process for all of the rooms. Finally I took different kinds of bottle caps dipped them in black paint and, made circles for windows and for some different types of designs.written by megan11132
