Welcome to our visual arts gallery on Artsonia. Thank you for visiting and supporting the arts. Please take time to comment on the children's work. It is important to encourage children in their artistic endeavours.
It is a wonderful opportunity for children to be able to express their feelings and to communicate their ideas in visual forms. It is a way for them to experiment, to take risks, to solve problems, to think critically, to develop self-confidence and to apply information in thoughtful ways. Each child will add some unique characteristic to their work and will often have a story to accompany it. Enjoy their work! Comment on the colors used, or the shapes, or the interesting patterns or lines, maybe the subject matter and how it appeals to you or perhaps the overall composition! Sometimes an artwork stirs up a favorite memory or place-you can let the artist know!
