In March of 2020, our lives changed forever as our state, country and the world faced a pandemic that required us to "shelter in place" for an indefinite period of time to ensure the safety of the most vulnerable in our communities.  As a result, schools were closed and then reopened to support student learning from home. Teachers, School Staff, Parents and Students transitioned with remarkable coordination, cooperation and compassion. We have definitely learned the meaning of the word Ubuntu on a whole new level!!! All the work in this Art Show was created by students creating from the Home Front during that time.  We studied several genres and artists from Kandinsky to Kahlo to Pollack. We even did a few Art Challenges.  And some students used their imaginations to create their own projects and used their creativity to show their appreciation to our First Responders!!  So many families expressed their deep appreciation for the joy that the Art assignments brought not just the students, but the entire family during this highly stressful time. This Art Show is a testimony to our hope, resilience, tenacity and creativity. I hope you enjoy it!!

(If you uploaded work but are not seeing it here, please accept my apologies, it is is because it is still missing parental permission. Please go into your account and give parental permission for your students' work to be made visible.  I will be able to add it then.)
