Animal Eyes ~ Windows to their Souls

Students began this observational drawing project by envisioning an animal that, given the opportunity, they could shapeshift into. They practiced in Week 1 drawing 3 different up-close animal eyes, focused on the elements of art within each superimposed animal image (line, shape, texture, color, value, space, and form). The artworks you are viewing are the final multimedia (watercolor, pastel, charcoal, digital, & markers on paper) pieces they chose to create using learned application techniques in class.
