This was a fun project to complete. I thought that the process was really easy and could be done in other ways. I would like to try this again and make a pair of prints that could be displayed together. I wasn't crazy about how the sun looked almost patchwork - if I was to do this again I would make the colors "swirl" together more in the sun.

Working with glue is a really fun way to make a picture. It's so very simple, yet gives such an interesting finish. I have always enjoyed working with pastels. If it doesn't work out the way you like it, just keep going until it does!

I enjoyed mixing all the colors and visualizing the color wheel spectrum. This piece reminds me of a Caribean sunset over the majestic ocean.

I've always been mezmerized by the depth of colors in sunsets and deep water. I tried to catch that here but didn't quite get the effect I hoped for. It was fun to use the pastels but not my favorite medium - but how the colors blend automatically is really a nice process.

I was impressed that my three year old daughter looked at it and asked if a drew this sun and water. I must have done a halfway decent job if she could recognize what it was supposed to be!

I learned about warm & cool colors - if I create this again, I would use smaller paper. It got tiring creating the picture. I like working with oil pastels.
